- Abstract
In order to analyze the influence of holes on castellated beam behavior,one typical castellated beam with hexagon holes are studied through nonlinear finite-element analysis.Stress and plastic distribution,flexural deflection are investigated and compared with those of beam without holes and proposition to design practice are put forward.
